I've become smitten with Tai Shan, the National Zoo's adorable fluffball of a panda cub. And, like millions of people worldwide, I've been tuning in daily to the zoo's two webcams to get my fix.
Lately, I found that I need to supplement my daily intake of cuteness. So I trolled around and found more video footage of Tai Shan being his adorable self:
- My personal favorite, Tai Shan takes first steps outside, via Washington Post/AP
- Tai Shan begins to walk, via Washington Post
- Tai Shan plays to the crowd, via Washington Post
- Tai Shan wakes up from his tub; climbs rocks, via Google video
- Butterstick (aka Tai Shan) debuts at the National Zoo, via Google video
- CBS News interview with Lisa Stevens on Tai Shan's Public Debut (video is on the right of the main story, midway on the page.)
- You can find more video through Truveo video search [Added on 10 January 2006.]
- More Tai Shan videos posted at You Tube. [Added on 25 January 2006.]
- Search for "Tai Shan" to find more videos from NBC. [Added on 10 February 2006.]
- Panda Kindergarten (see video on the right) —no Tai Shan in this one but there are loads of little panda cubs! [Added on 17 February 2006.]
- Tai Shan walks backwards captured off the National Zoo webcam. [Added on May 18 2006.]
If you know of any more video footage of Tai Shan, please drop me a note so I can include the link (with credit to you, of course!)
